Bijlmer ArenA is a modern train and metro station complex south of Amstel re-opened in 2007 after a major refurbishment. The area includes the Amsterdam ArenA football stadium, the Heineken Music Hall, the Ziggo Dome, a Pathé multiscreen cinema and Arena Boulevard shopping outlets.
