This station near the river Amstel (south-east of the centre) opened in 1939. The main hall has some interesting art-deco murals and a few shops including Bruna (newsagents), Albert Heijn To Go (mini-supermarket), ETOS (chemist) plus a Julia’s and Starbucks. Rail tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines or the NS Tickets & Service desk. Left luggage lockers are available.
